RESIDENCY
At the artist residency we were focusing on paralell to art practice to deepen knowledge relating to horses, as well as to the different possibilities of interpretation of the horse-human relationship. The everyday relationship with horses during the residency offered the opportunity for creating studies of live horses (drawings, paintings, texts) as well as the residency offered a close to nature experince with living in yurts next to the horses. Such questions could more easily accure in this enviroment, like the relationship of human to nature, animals, or how to rethink landscape for example, or what can be man's relationship to the herd, to others or even to his/herself or even to his/her own body. Next to studio practice and the daily different kinds of studies with horses, artists had the opportunity to try archery and even horsearchery. Participants had the opportunity to go tracking as well as to excursions such as to Tihany penninsula. Participants gave introductions and talks on their own individual practice. A unique part of the program was this year organic macrobiotic meals daily all made by specialist Sebestyén Szilvia, founder of the Macrobiotic Institute In Budapest.
